Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Malaysia insurance and wealth management market strategy for company's suite of digital insurance/wealth tools and platforms.
- Drive end-to-end sales and distribution-targeting insurers, agents, bancassurance partners, and brokers.
- Build and manage a high-performing Sales & BD team, setting revenue targets and activity KPIs.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across insurers, agents, banks, and wealth management companies to promote company's solution ecosystem.
- Lead presentations, demos, and negotiations across product offerings, including agent portals, CRM tools, need-analysis engines, and policy servicing platforms.
- Co-develop market positioning strategies aligned with local regulatory compliance and industry trends.
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to adapt product design, onboarding, and training for Malaysian clients.
- Monitor and optimize sales metrics, pipeline, pricing models, and deal profitability.
- Ensure market feedback loops, feature upgrades, and continuous alignment with client expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in insurance platform sales, business development, or digital distribution (life and/or general insurance).
- Proven track record in selling technology-based insurance tools, platforms, or SaaS solutions to insurers, agencies, or bancassurance channels.
- Deep network and credibility within the Asia Pacific insurance ecosystem.
- Strength in consultative selling, team leadership, and pipeline execution.
- Commercial acumen in revenue models with vendor/partner-based pricing strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
