Role Overview

The Head of Operations will lead and manage end-to-end operational functions for the India business, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and scalable growth. The role will work closely with senior leadership to optimize processes, strengthen service delivery, and align operations with the organizations strategic objectives within the insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the insurance business in India

- Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and best practices

- Lead cross-functional teams and foster a performance-driven culture

- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and execution

- Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and industry compliance standards

- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies

- Drive automation and technology-led improvements in operations

- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational performance metrics

- Manage vendor relationships and external stakeholders

- Support business expansion and scaling initiatives

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field

- MBA or equivalent professional qualification preferred

- Insurance-related certifications such as IRDAI certification preferred

Experience

- 10 to 15 years of overall experience in operations

- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role within insurance or financial services

- Proven experience managing large-scale, customer-centric operations
