Job Description:

We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the organisation's end-to-end IT and digital technology function. The role will be responsible for building a scalable technology ecosystem across business applications, ERP, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, automation and digital transformation.

The ideal candidate should be a business-oriented technology leader who can modernise technology infrastructure, improve operational efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the overall IT strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.

- Lead implementation, optimisation and integration of ERP and core business applications across finance, supply chain, inventory, sales and manufacturing.

- Drive digital transformation and automation across business processes.

- Build robust IT infrastructure, cloud, networks, systems and cybersecurity capabilities.

- Establish strong IT governance, data security, access controls, backup and disaster recovery frameworks.

- Drive data, analytics and BI to provide real-time business insights and dashboards.

- Evaluate and implement technology solutions for inventory, warehouse, procurement, logistics, sales and manufacturing operations.

- Manage technology vendors, implementation partners and external IT service providers.

- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.

- Build, mentor and lead a high-performing IT and technology team.

- Own IT budgets, technology investments, vendor negotiations and overall technology cost optimisation.

- Ensure technology systems are scalable, secure, integrated and future-ready as the business grows.

Ideal Candidate:

- 15+ years of experience in IT leadership / technology transformation roles.

- Experience as CTO / CIO / Head IT / VP IT / Technology Head in a mid-sized or growing organisation.

- Strong experience across ERP, digital transformation, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, data & analytics and enterprise applications.

- Experience managing technology transformation in manufacturing, chemicals, FMCG, distribution, trading or other B2B businesses would be preferred.

- Proven track record of leading ERP implementation/integration and process automation.

- Strong understanding of IT governance, information security, data architecture and technology risk management.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work closely with promoters, CXOs and business heads.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build technology capabilities in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
