Head - Information Technology - Manufacturing Industry

Role Overview:

The Head of IT will lead the organizations IT and IT-enabled services (ITES) strategy, ensuring robust infrastructure, secure systems, and effective technology solutions. The role involves end-to-end management of IT operations, project execution, technology evaluation, vendor management, and team leadership to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Activities:

1. IT & ITES Delivery Management:

- Oversee and ensure execution of delivery of ITES projects and system upgrades.

- Manage deployment and upgrades of IT hardware, networking, infrastructure software, and security systems.

- Ensure high-quality delivery of IT support services to internal and external customers.

- Execute ITES projects with a focus on stakeholder management, timelines, and cost efficiency.

2. Strategic Planning and Technology Management:

- Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance business performance and productivity.

- Drive technology and vendor evaluation, selection, and cost optimization for IT and ITES functions.

- Define IT requirements, standards, and implementation roadmaps.

- Develop and maintain a secure and scalable IT infrastructure aligned with organizational goals.

3. Team Leadership and Development:

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team for project delivery and support.

- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning within the IT function.

- Provide direction and guidance for technology exposure and skill enhancement of team members.

4. Governance and Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to IT governance, data security, and compliance frameworks.

- Monitor IT performance metrics and report progress to senior leadership.

- Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and contracts effectively.

- Effectively manage budgets and formulate the same.

Person Specification:

- MBA Preferred.

- BE/B.Tech-Computer Engineering.

- Experience in Manufacturing Industries.

- Tenure Consistency.

- Flexible Mindset.

- Required 15-20 years of relevant experience in Project Deliveries and SAP Environment. Software Integration knowledge.

- Excellent written and spoken English. Should be from Mumbai.
