Job Title : Head of IT Location : Pune/Aurangabad, India Reports To: CFO Industry : Auto Components Manufacturing Role Overview: The role will develop and lead the technology roadmap and choices, IT operations, and any digital (including digitization and analytics) projects for a multi-plant auto component manufacturing company. As Head of IT the candidate overall will oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, and vendor management, ensuring high system availability and business alignment. The role requires expertise in SAP ERP, Microsoft enterprise technologies, and manufacturing IT systems. Key Responsibilities Technology Strategy & IT Leadership - Develop and execute the IT roadmap in alignment with business and operational goals. - Lead digital initiatives, leveraging SAP, Microsoft, cloud, and Industry 4.0 solutions. - Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and security. Cybersecurity & IT Compliance - Implement robust cybersecurity strategies, ensuring protection against cyber threats. - Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, IATF 16949, GDPR, CERT, IT Act etc., or other regulatory requirements. - Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. IT Service Delivery & Vendor Management: - Establish and manage IT service levels (SLAs) for business continuity and system uptime. - Oversee third-party vendors, SAP support partners, cloud providers, and IT service providers. - Ensure most effective solutions at the lowest cost to the organization Optimize IT spend through SAP ERP & Business Systems: - Oversee SAP ERP (S4HANA) system stability, optimization, and enhancements. - Collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline SAP processes in manufacturing, finance, and supply chain and other functions. Microsoft Technologies & IT Infrastructure: - Manage Microsoft enterprise solutions (e.g. Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, SQL Server, SharePoint, Office 365). - Ensure reliable IT infrastructure across all plants, including networks, servers, and cloud systems. - Drive cloud adoption and hybrid IT models for improved scalability and security. - effective vendor negotiations and strategic outsourcing. Team Leadership & People Management: - Lead and mentor a cross-functional IT team across multiple locations. - Develop internal IT capabilities by fostering skill development and continuous learning. - Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration within IT. Candidate Profile: Education & Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering. - 10+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably in automotive or manufacturing industries. - Experience in SAP ERP (ECC / S4HANA) implementation and management. - Experience in IT service management, vendor negotiations, and contract management. - Strong background in Microsoft enterprise technologies (Windows Server, AD, SQL, Azure, Office 365).
