Head - Information Technology

Key Responsibilities

Operational Areas:

- Manage centralized private cloud infrastructure across group entities.

- Oversee data centers at Yotta DC (Panvel) and DR site in Yotta Noida.

- Administer ~80 physical servers, 1100+ VMs, and 3 PB of data storage - including Server provisioning, backup, DR BCP, Email & AD management, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), NOC, SOC etc

- Lead network operations with 1100+ links and 13 GBPS bandwidth.

- Manage central security stack (Perimeter & Core Firewalls, IPS, WAF, DLP etc) & secure connectivity across 1,000 branches in 700+ locations.

- Manage endpoint infrastructure (~13,000 endpoints) and enterprise tools - Microsoft 365, Seclore, Safe Boot, AV/EDR, DLP, ZIA, Citrix VPN, VDI, MDM, LAPS

- Ensure performance and availability of applications including SAP, Prakriya, ITIS Portal, CMS Portal, and SFTP and infrastructure tools such as AD, SSCM, Arcos, PRTG, vRA, vROPS

- Centralized procurement/licensing of - 50 Cr+ annual AMCs & licenses

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of systems and applications.

- Manage IT service delivery and ensure SLA adherence for business units.

- Coordinate with LOB IT & procurement/finance to ensure timely PO issuance and invoice clearance.

Governance & Compliance Areas:

- Build and enforce technology governance and information security frameworks.

- Align regulatory processes to meet RBI, IRDAI, SEBI, and CERT-IN requirements.

- Manage budgets, procurement, licensing, AMC renewals, and vendor contracts centrally.

- Ensure compliance with DPDP Act, ISO 27001, and other security standards.

- Lead IT risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Team Leadership:

- Lead mid-management staff and coordinate with group entities.

- Collaborate with LOB CTOs/CIOs to align enterprise-wide IT objectives

- Act as a compliance and security lead in absence of a formal CISO.

- Establish IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks.

- Provide consolidated MIS and performance reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly)

- Provide consolidated reporting and insights to LOB CTOs on IT performance, risks, and opportunities.

- Build high-performance teams with clear roles, KPIs, and career growth paths

Performance Indicators:

- System uptime and availability.

- Project delivery timelines and quality.

- Cybersecurity incident rate.

- IT budget adherence and cost savings.
