A. Purpose & Scope: 1. Establish and implement short/ long term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Develop governance mechanism for monitoring the SOP's and SLA's 2. Review the current communication system for the company, including network infrastructure, wide area connectivity, network security etc. and implement changes in line with the current technology / requirement in a phased manner 3. Manage and support delivery of software and hardware operations and projects with a help of IT team 4. Lead & mentor the IT team to manage Operational requirements. 5. Ensure periodic team meetings with the IT SPOC's in various locations to understand the challenges and give proper guidance 6. Develop a learning and development plan to improve the skill levels of the Team members periodically 7. Lead the technology team and create strategic plans / Innovation for the company's future growth. 8. Ensure proper tracking of all IT assets in the company. 9. Work closely with the project managers to ensure optimum allocation and utilization of technology resources. 10. Identify and manage external vendors in the delivery of contracted work if any B. Responsibilities: 1. Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure 2. Provide Floor Support on a regular basis and upon AdHoc requests 3. Perform Annual Maintenance of systems and incorporate system updates regularly. 4. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools 5. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes 6. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies 7. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems 8. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
