Function: Supply Chain - Strategic Procurement

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced procurement leader to head the organization's indirect services procurement function. The role will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, optimizing procurement costs, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring efficient procurement governance across multiple business service categories. The ideal candidate should have strong commercial acumen, leadership capabilities, and expertise in managing large-scale sourcing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement:

- Develop and implement long-term procurement strategies for indirect service categories.

- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and operational efficiency.

- Analyze spending patterns and market trends to drive informed sourcing decisions.

- Build procurement roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

Category Management:

- Manage sourcing activities across categories such as:

1. HR & Employee Services

2. Marketing & Brand Services

3. Customer Experience & Contact Center Operations

4. Logistics, Warehousing & Transportation

5. Retail Infrastructure & Facility Services

6. Security & Facility Management

7. Digital, Technology & Network Support Services

Supplier Management:

- Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and onboarding.

- Build strategic supplier relationships to improve service quality and innovation.

- Drive supplier performance through regular reviews and scorecards.

- Manage supplier risk and business continuity initiatives.

Commercial & Contract Management:

- Lead commercial negotiations to maximize value and reduce procurement costs.

- Ensure effective contract lifecycle management in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and business teams.

- Monitor contract compliance, renewals, and SLA adherence.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Partner with cross-functional leaders to understand procurement requirements.

- Act as a trusted procurement advisor to business functions.

- Ensure timely delivery of sourcing projects while maintaining governance standards.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop procurement professionals.

- Build capabilities in sourcing, negotiation, analytics, and supplier management.

- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- MBA or Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or a related discipline.

- Strong expertise in supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement transformation.

- Experience handling high-value sourcing spend and leading cross-functional teams.
