About the Role:

We are seeking a results-oriented senior professional to lead and oversee the Import & Export operations of a leading listed petrochemical company. The role involves managing end-to-end EXIM processes, liquid bulk logistics, warehousing, and transportation functions to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and compliant supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Import & Export Operations:

- Oversee liquid bulk chemical imports and product handling operations.

- Manage export operations including containerized shipments.

- Ensure timely movement of containers to ports and CFS facilities.

- Drive cost optimization across import and export handling processes.
Documentation & Compliance

- Handle Import/Export documentation, customs clearances, and other regulatory formalities.

- Ensure full compliance with Exim Policy, DGFT guidelines, and other statutory requirements.

- Liaise effectively with DGFT, RAs, and relevant authorities for licenses and approvals.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with Customs Brokers, Surveyors, Shipping Lines, and Transporters for seamless operations.

- Ensure on-time handover of containers to meet targeted vessel cut-offs.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies and business objectives.

System & Process Management:

- Utilize SAP for operational tracking, documentation, and reporting.

- Continuously review and enhance EXIM procedures for improved efficiency and compliance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Proven track record of managing Import & Export, Warehousing, and Transport Operations within the petrochemical or related industry.

- Strong understanding of liquid bulk cargo management and supply chain execution.

- Hands-on experience with customs processes, DGFT liaisoning, and SAP systems.

- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
