
Role Summary
The Head - HR will be responsible for leading the overall Human Resources function for the organization, driving people strategy aligned with business goals. The role involves overseeing talent acquisition, employee engagement, industrial relations, performance management, compliance, learning & development, and organizational development for manufacturing and corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for plant, technical, and corporate hiring.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture initiatives.
- Manage Industrial Relations (IR) and ensure harmonious union and workforce relations.
- Oversee statutory compliance related to labor laws, factories act, PF, ESIC, gratuity, and other regulations.
- Design and implement performance management systems and succession planning initiatives.
- Lead compensation benchmarking, payroll coordination, and rewards programs.
- Drive leadership development, capability building, and training interventions across functions.
- Partner with business leaders to improve productivity, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Handle disciplinary matters, grievance redressal, and employee welfare initiatives.
- Ensure smooth HR operations across manufacturing units and corporate offices.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institute.
- 1520+ years of HR experience, preferably in textile, garment, apparel, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong exposure to Industrial Relations and labor law compliance.
- Experience managing large blue-collar workforce environments.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive HR transformation and people initiatives in manufacturing setups.
