About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on HR leader to head their Human Resources function. This role is ideal for someone who has built HR processes from the ground up in startup or fast-scaling environments. You will work closely with the Founder and leadership team to shape our HR strategy, company culture, and organizational design.

Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Culture
- Design and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals and startup growth.
- Partner with founders on organizational planning, team structures, and workforce design.
- Scale HR practices that are agile, business-driven, and culturally aligned.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- Build and lead the recruitment function to hire top talent across roles.
- Drive employer branding and candidate experience to attract high caliber professionals.
- Set up hiring processes, metrics, and interview structures from the ground up.
HR Business Partnering:
- Act as a coach and advisor to business leaders on all HR matters.
- Drive ownership, accountability, and engagement across teams.
- Enable managers to lead effectively through growth and change.
Performance Management & Development:
- Set up and manage performance frameworks (OKRs, KPIs, 360 reviews, etc.).
- Identify learning and development needs and implement scalable L&D plans.
- Design and implement leadership and capability-building programs.
Organizational Development & Culture:
- Integrate company values into hiring, onboarding, and everyday operations.
- Drive initiatives to build a strong, performance-oriented, and inclusive culture.
- Lead engagement surveys, feedback loops, and improvement initiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Establish HR systems, tools, and processes for scale.
- Ensure compliance with legal, labor, and regulatory requirements.
- Use HR analytics to support business and workforce decisions.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 3-4 years in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Understand technology companies and the mindset to scale it up.
- Strong talent acquisition skills.
- Proven ability to build and scale HR functions from scratch
- Strong expertise in recruitment, performance management, OD, and HR strategy
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on, execution-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity
- MBA in HR / relevant qualification preferred.
- Certificate in human psychology and behaviour is an added preference.
