
Head of Human Resources (HR)
Location: Gurugram (5 days from office)
Experience Required: 15+ years in HR Leadership
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Head of HR to lead our Human Resources function, strengthen employee experience, and support business transformation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing HR for large-scale organizations (2,000+ workforce), with deep expertise in attrition management, talent retention, HR operations, and building future-ready practices.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Execution
- Translate business objectives into actionable HR strategies.
- Partner with the senior leadership team to drive organizational culture and people practices.
- Lead workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning to enable scalable growth.
Employee Experience & Retention
- Build and implement employee engagement, retention, and attrition management frameworks.
- Lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) programs and act as POSH Presiding Officer.
- Strengthen grievance handling mechanisms to foster employee trust and well-being.
HR Operations & Governance
- Oversee HR operations including payroll, compliance, audits, and statutory requirements.
- Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and HR technology adoption.
- Manage shared services including administration, infrastructure, and procurement where applicable.
People Development & Leadership
- Lead and mentor the HR team (20+ members) to deliver excellence across functions.
- Support leadership hiring and enable a high-performance culture through OKRs, KRAs, and PMS frameworks.
- Design and execute learning and capability-building programs for employees.
Stakeholder Management & Compliance
- Collaborate closely with leadership and key stakeholders on HR policies and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, audits, and organizational governance standards.
- Support business continuity and risk management from a people perspective.
Requirements
- 15+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in services/consulting industries.
- Proven ability to manage HR for organizations with 2,000+ employees.
- Strong expertise in employee retention, engagement, and attrition control.
- Hands-on experience in HR operations, payroll optimization, and audits.
- Experience in implementing and scaling HR technology platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
