Regional HR Head South

Role Overview
The Regional HR Head South will be responsible for leading and managing the complete HR function across the South region for a high-growth QSR organisation. This role is a critical business partner to regional leadership, ensuring people practices support rapid scale, operational excellence, and a strong employee experience across stores and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnering
- Act as a trusted HR partner to Regional Business Heads and Operations leadership.
- Translate business goals into effective people strategies aligned with regional and organisational priorities.
- Support expansion, new store launches, and stabilisation of operations from a people perspective.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Drive regional hiring strategy for store staff, Shift Partners, Store Partners, and support roles.
- Ensure timely manpower planning, hiring closures, and readiness for new store openings.
- Work closely with TA teams to build strong hiring pipelines and reduce attrition risk.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Own end-to-end employee lifecycle across the region onboarding, confirmation, performance, engagement, exits.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and strong handholding of new joiners, especially freshers and frontline staff.
- Address employee grievances and ensure timely, fair resolution.
Performance & Capability Building
- Drive performance management processes and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Identify training needs and enable capability building for store leadership and frontline teams.
- Strengthen people leadership skills among Cluster Managers, Senior Partners, and Store Managers.
Employee Engagement & Retention
- Build and execute engagement initiatives to improve morale, productivity, and retention.
- Analyse attrition trends and implement corrective actions at cluster and store levels.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and people-centric culture across the region.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, SOPs, labour laws, and statutory compliances.
- Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, disciplinary processes, and audits.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR processes across all locations.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Lead and develop the regional HR team; build strong HR capability on the ground.
- Coach HR Business Partners and HR Executives to operate with ownership and accountability.
- Maintain strong coordination with Corporate HR, Finance, and Operations teams.

Qualifications & Experience
- MBA / PGDM in HR or related field
- 10 to 15+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in QSR / Retail / Hospitality / FMCG
- Proven experience managing large, distributed frontline workforces
- Prior regional or multi-location HR leadership experience is mandatory
