Role Objective:
- Build the people, culture, and leadership foundation to support rapid scale, high performance, and long-term institutional strength.
- This role owns talent acquisition, leadership development, performance culture, and retentionensuring the organization attracts, develops, and keeps top industry talent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Design and execute high-quality hiring strategies across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Analytics.
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle: role design, interview frameworks, and offer management.
- Build world-class onboarding so new hires ramp up fast and stay long.
2. Culture & Employee Engagement:
- Act as the culture champion.
- Build a high-ownership, high-performance, low-politics environment.
- Design engagement, retention, and grievance systems that are fair, transparent, and trust-based.
3. Performance Management & Leadership Development:
- Build goal-setting frameworks, appraisal systems, and feedback culture.
- Identify high-potential talent and develop leadership pipelines and succession plans.
- Ensure every employee knows what success looks like and how they can grow.
4. Compensation & Rewards:
- Design performance-linked compensation structures.
- Run salary benchmarking for external competitiveness and internal equity.
- Link rewards tightly to results, ownership, and values.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience & Background:
- 35 years in FMCG or high-growth consumer companies.
- Strong experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and culture building.
Skills & Attributes:
- Extremely mature for their age.
- Strong people judgment and integrity.
- Entrepreneurial yet process-driven.
- Can influence founders and leaders, not just employees.
- Passionate about building great companies through great people.
Educational & Professional Credentials:
- XLRI / TISS / IIM / Symbiosis or equivalent top HR school.
- Strong FMCG or high-quality corporate exposure.
