Their is one good opportunity for HR Head with our Packaging client based in Lagos Nigeria . - We are looking for an experienced HR Head to oversee all aspects of HR practices and processes. - The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws, providing guidance on employee relations matters, and developing and implementing HR policies that support the organization's goals. - This role will also require managing a large number of expats and contractual labor. Responsibilities : Business Partnering : - Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the business objectives of the organization. - Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team on HR matters and provide guidance on organizational development, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning. - Work collaboratively with business leaders to develop and implement programs that attract, retain, and develop talent. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability to support the organization's growth. Industrial Relations : - Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies. - Oversee the negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements. - Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure positive employee relations and mitigate potential labor disputes. - Monitor and manage employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts. HR Operations : - Manage the HR function, including recruitment, talent management, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement. - Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support the organization's goals and objectives. - Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and regulations related to HR practices and processes. - Establish and maintain effective HR systems and processes that support the efficient and effective delivery of HR services. - Manage a large number of expats and contractual labor, including ensuring compliance with immigration laws and coordinating with legal counsel as needed. Administration : - Oversee administrative functions such as office management, security, and transportation. - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. - Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, such as facilities management and security companies. - Coordinate with other departments to ensure that administrative services are provided efficiently and effectively. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred. - 10+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment. - Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures. - Experience in industrial relations, including negotiating collective bargaining agreements and managing labor disputes. - Experience managing a large number of expats and contractual labor, including knowledge of immigration laws and regulations. - Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of HR professionals. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
