Head of Human Resources
Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic yet hands-on HR leader to head the Human Resources function for a fast-growing, professionally run manufacturing company. This role will lead HR for the group, overseeing end-to-end HR responsibilities across multiple plant and corporate locations, while working closely with promoters to shape and scale people practices.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned to business growth across geographies
- Lead HR operations including talent acquisition, compliance, IR/ER, L&D, C&B, and performance management
- Build a scalable HR infrastructure (systems, tools, policies) for future growth
- Drive cultural alignment, employee engagement, and leadership development
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the promoter group and senior leadership
- Act as the bridge between plant HR and corporate HR, standardizing practices across
What We're Looking For:
15+ years of HR experience, including:
- 5-10 years in plant HR roles in manufacturing environments (unionized preferred)
- 5+ years in corporate HR, directly reporting to promoters or the CEO
- Strong HR generalist with experience building HR from scratch or scaling HR functions
- Proven experience managing multiple locations and a diverse workforce
- Must have worked in family-managed or promoter-led companies
- Full-time MBA or PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institute
- Deep understanding of HRIS, statutory compliances, and people processes
- Excellent communication, business acumen, and stakeholder
