A publicly listed firm, it has rapidly grown (&gt;25% CAGR) over the last few years and has built a strong brand in Western India. With over 500 employees and 5 plants across Gujarat and Maharashtra, it seeks to hire a Group HR Head to lead its people function. Associate companies include textile yarn manufacturing as well as other associate businesses. Head, Human Resources Location Surat (Six days working) As leader of the HR function, the role holder will be responsible for leading an efficient team in designing and implementing effective HR systems, policies, and practices across the group. Role & Responsibilities : - Drive organization growth through effective implementation of company policies, fostering a positive work environment across all levels - Lead and manage core HR functions including Recruitment and Onboarding, Performance Management, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Rewards and Culture - Lead the HR team to build high-quality systems and processes in the areas of workforce planning, recruitment and staffing - Ensure statutory compliance of all units to applicable Factory and Labour Laws, including licensing, compliance registers & records, and return filing for PF, ESIC etc - Drive employee onboarding, training & development, welfare, and R&R activities - Develop, implement and review HR policies and processes per the evolving needs of the business, including the change management programs, to deliver continual improvement. Skills and Experience : - MBA in HR/ PH in Labour laws with 15-18 years of progressive experience - Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role/ capacity in manufacturing industries - Desirable experience in strategic HR topics, including Talent Management, Balance Score Card, PMS and Change Management - Strong communication and influencing skills for cross-functional and external interactions. - Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines - Stakeholder Management and Problem-solving skills
