Role & Title - Head HR
Reports to - CEO
Store Structure - Coc Os, Fof Os + Cofo, Sis
Total Employees - Around 1500-1800 (in Manufacturing Facility, Corporate + Regional Offices)
Work Days - 6 Days Work Week (1st & 3rd Saturdays Off)
Key Exposure Needed - Pms, Employee Satisfaction (nps), Payroll, Talent Acquisition
Team Size - 3 in Corporate (2 Payroll, 1 Talent Acquisition), 2 in Factory (payroll)
Current Experience Ideal - 10 to 18 Yrs
Exceptional - 25 - 26 Yrs (currently Working in Similar Setups)
Education - Mba (preferred) Not Mandatory
Industry Pereference - Retail, Fmcg, Consumer Durables
Experience Working in Corporate Role or Regional Role
Must have worked on managing a Manufacturing facility
1. Strategic HR & Business Partnering
- Partner with senior leadership to design and implement HR strategies tailored to the fast-paced, seasonal nature of the fashion and apparel industry.
- Establish and track HR metrics to provide decision-making support to the board and management.
2. Talent Acquisition & Management
- Lead workforce planning for production, corporate support, and retail operations.
- Oversee recruitment for niche and creative roles (e.g., designers, pattern masters, merchandisers) and high-volume seasonal retail/factory hiring.
- Develop and execute robust onboarding programs and succession planning frameworks for leadership continuity.
3. Performance Management & Training
- Design performance evaluation systems and KPIs across all departments, keeping a special focus on retail sales productivity and factory production efficiency.
- Identify training needs and organize L&D programs for upskilling, customer service, and workplace safety.
4. Employee Relations & Culture
- Champion and foster a creative, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that balances the needs of creative teams and operational staff.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and conflict resolution.
5. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
- Design competitive compensation packages, salary structures, and incentive schemes for production workers and retail sales staff.
- Oversee payroll administration, benefits, and wellness programs.
6. Statutory Compliance & Industrial Relations
- Ensure strict adherence to regional labor laws and industry standards (e.g., Factories Act, Shops & Establishments, PF, ESI).
- Manage industrial relations and ensure a safe, legally compliant working environment across all manufacturing units.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: MBA or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 10 to 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
Industry Background: Demonstrated experience in the apparel, textile, FMCG, or retail manufacturing industries.
Key Skills: Deep expertise in statutory compliance, industrial relations, talent acquisition, and HR analytics.
Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
