Key responsibilities
- Own the entire HR function end- to- end, covering Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, HR Business Partnering, and overall People Strategy
- Partner closely with the founders and senior leadership to understand the organisation's long- term mission and business goals, and translate them into effective talent and people strategies
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including employer branding, hiring, onboarding, and the development of long- term succession planning and retention programmes
- Design and implement performance evaluation frameworks, along with competitive compensation, benefits, and rewards strategies aligned to business needs
- Oversee and manage a performance management and appraisal system that drives high performance, accountability, and growth
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and improve employee satisfaction, retention, and productivity
- Develop HR policies and ensure full compliance with local, state, and national labour laws and regulations
- Establish and implement policies and procedures that promote fair, consistent, and transparent employee relations practices
- Leverage HR analytics and technology to enhance HR processes and decision- making; use data insights to identify trends, drive improvements, and measure the effectiveness of HR programmes
- Lead, mentor, and structure the HR team, while managing departmental budgets and building long- term functional capability
The Successful Applicant
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role
- Experience in one or more of the following environments:
- Product- led manufacturing or OEM organisations
- Large industrial or engineering- driven companies
- High- growth manufacturing or hardware- focused startups
- Demonstrated experience handling both plant HR and corporate HR
Strong understanding of:
- Labour laws, statutory compliance and employee relations
- Organisation development, performance management and change leadership
- Ability to operate effectively in fast- paced, ambiguous environments
- Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving transformation
- Data- driven mindset with experience using HR analytics and technology
