Job Description:
The Head - Human Resources will serve as a strategic partner to the Founder and leadership team, driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives. This role requires a seasoned HR leader with deep expertise in manufacturing environments, capable of managing both plant and corporate HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Founder and senior leadership.
Talent Management & Development:
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies.
- Drive learning & development initiatives to build future-ready talent.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Foster a positive workplace culture across plant and corporate teams.
- Design and implement employee engagement programs.
Performance Management:
- Oversee performance appraisal systems and career progression frameworks.
- Ensure merit-based recognition and reward mechanisms.
Compliance & Policy:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Establish HR governance frameworks for ethical and compliant practices.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Design competitive compensation structures within budgetary limits.
- Manage payroll, benefits, and incentive programs.
Operational HR Excellence:
- Streamline HR processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Leverage HR technology for data-driven decision-making.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record of 12+ years in HR leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong exposure to both plant operations and corporate HR functions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage mid-sized teams and employee bases (~200).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site environment with a 6-day work week.
