Head of HR - Global Capability Center - India

Location: Gurgaon, India

Experience: 15+ years

Function: Human Resources

How You Add Value:

- Lead the HR function for the Gurgaon shared services-captive organisation.

- Partner with senior business leaders on workforce planning, organisation structure and people priorities.

- Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including employee lifecycle, HR policies, payroll coordination, benefits and compliance.

- Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning in partnership with the recruitment team.

- Drive performance management, talent reviews, succession planning and career development.

- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.

- Manage employee relations and provide guidance on complex people matters.

- Ensure HR policies and practices are aligned with local regulations and global standards.

- Partner with business leaders on organisational change, restructuring and other people-related initiatives.

- Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring clear responsibilities and effective delivery.

- Monitor HR metrics and provide regular insights to senior leadership.

- Work with global teams to implement global programmes and ensure local requirements are addressed.

- Support the growth and scaling of the India operations.

Candidate Profile:

- 15+ years of HR experience, with significant experience in a global capability center, shared-services organization, or complex multinational company.

- Experience leading the HR function for a sizeable business or organisation.

- Strong experience across HR operations, employee relations, talent management, performance management and workforce planning.

- Experience partnering with senior leadership and managing multiple stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of Indian employment practices and HR compliance.

- Experience in building and managing HR teams.

- Good commercial and business understanding, with the ability to connect people priorities with business requirements.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience working with global or regional HR teams is preferred.
