Position Title: Head - Human Resources

Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and driven HR leader to build and lead the human resources function from the ground up in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture, policies, and talent practices of a company in its formative years. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, execution excellence, and deep ownership across all HR verticals.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Build and scale the HR function from scratch, aligning people practices with business strategy.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all people-related matters.
- Ensure HR policies and practices are aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.
Talent Acquisition & Management
- Design and execute robust hiring strategies to attract top talent across verticals.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Develop and implement performance management systems to drive accountability and growth.
Compensation, Compliance & OD
- Define compensation structures, benchmarking, and variable incentive frameworks.
- Oversee HR compliance, audits, and labor law adherence.
- Drive organizational design, workforce analytics, and role structuring as the company scales.
Culture & Engagement
- Shape and nurture a culture that promotes innovation, accountability, and integrity.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives that drive retention and morale.
- Lead internal communication efforts and pulse-check mechanisms to ensure a connected workforce.
Employer Branding & Risk Management
- Position the company as an employer of choice through strategic employer branding initiatives.
- Proactively identify and mitigate reputational risks related to people and culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven ability to design and implement HR systems, policies, and culture-building initiatives.
- Strong understanding of labour laws, HR compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in financial services / NBFC / fintech sectors is highly desirable.
