A Premier full service Law Indian firm is seeking to hire an HRBP to lead the Human Resources function. The role is responsible for driving a values-aligned, high-performance culture across a multi-generational workforce, supporting both the legacy and the evolving identity of the firm.

The responsibilities encompasses on hiring the right people, building strong leaders, and improving employee engagement, retention, and managing change effectively.

Role Overview & Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

- Lead and strengthen end-to-end recruitment strategy across levels - from Associates to Partners.

- Collaborate with practice leaders to understand hiring needs and workforce planning.

- Build a strong employer brand to attract top legal talent.

Engagement & Retention:

- Design tailored engagement frameworks for two distinct cohorts:

a. Associates to Associate Partners (Gen Z & early career lawyers): Build initiatives that reflect their aspirations, work styles, and growth needs.

b. Partners to Managing Partners: Drive strategic HR programs focused on leadership development, succession planning, and firm-wide alignment.

Culture & Change Management:

- Shape and evolve firm culture during generational transitions, ensuring alignment with LKS values while embracing new practices.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational design and change readiness.

Performance Management & L&D:

- Institutionalise structured performance review systems that are fair, transparent, and growth-oriented.

- Create and oversee learning programs that enhance technical, people, and leadership skills.

- Build leadership pipelines and succession plans for key roles.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Benchmark, evaluate, and introduce competitive and innovative compensation strategies aligned with law firm best practices.

- Drive total rewards strategy for both retention and performance.

HR Operations & Compliance:

- Oversee HR policies, processes, and legal compliance.

- Leverage technology to automate and scale core HR processes.

Qualification:

- MBA in Human Resources

- 10 - 15 years of experience preferably in professional services, legal, consulting, or knowledge-driven sectors
