
Description: A leading BPO organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Human Resources to lead the HR function. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in statutory compliance, high-volume recruitment, and payroll management, along with the ability to support a fast-paced, people-intensive business. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance, talent availability, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Statutory Compliance & Labor Law Management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory requirements relevant to the BPO/ITES sector.
- Manage compliance related to PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, CLRA, Shops & Establishments, and other labor legislations.
- Handle statutory audits, inspections, and filings.
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and auditors.
- Ensure compliance for contract staffing and third-party vendors.
- Recruitment & Workforce Management
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for bulk and lateral hiring across voice and non-voice processes.
- Design and implement hiring strategies to meet high-volume and quick TAT requirements.
- Manage recruitment partners, consultants, and internal hiring teams.
- Oversee onboarding, documentation, and background verification processes.
- Payroll & Compensation Administration
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance.
- Manage payroll for large employee volumes, shift-based and variable pay structures.
- Coordinate with finance and payroll vendors for seamless payroll operations.
- Handle salary revisions, incentives, bonuses, and final settlements.
- HR Operations & Policy Implementation
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks aligned with BPO operations.
- Manage attendance, shift rosters, leave management, and HRIS systems.
- Ensure proper maintenance of employee records and data confidentiality.
- Employee Relations & HR Leadership
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and exit management.
- Support employee engagement, retention, and attrition control initiatives.
- Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure efficient HR service delivery.
- Act as an HR business partner to leadership on workforce planning and people strategy.
