Head - Human Resources - BFS

What Youll Do:

- Set the strategic direction for the People function in India while remaining hands-on and focused on solving operational challenges.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the local Talent Acquisition and People Operations team, providing clear ownership and opportunities for growth.

- Partner closely with India leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and people-related business decisions.

- Establish and maintain high standards of HR compliance across India operations, including statutory compliance, payroll accuracy, POSH, and employment regulations.

- Own and manage key HR vendors, including HR outsourcing partners, insurance providers, HRIS platforms, and other People-related service providers.

- Monitor vendor performance and take ownership of service quality, escalating critical matters to the global People team when required.

- Drive a strong employee experience and build a culture based on the Company's values, mission, and vision.

What Were Looking For

- An experienced People/HR leader who can be the face of the People function, building trust with employees, managers, and senior executives.

- Proven ability to translate mission, vision, and values into everyday culture, processes, and team practices.

- Experience leading a People/HR function in a fast-paced, high-growth, or build-as-you-go environment.

- Experience in hardware, consumer technology, retail, or another operationally intensive industry will be preferred.

- Strong ability to move seamlessly between hands-on execution and strategic discussions with senior leadership.

- Demonstrated experience leading teams through organizational change, including restructuring, transformation, and implementation of new ways of working.

- Strong knowledge of Indian employment laws, statutory compliance, payroll practices, and POSH requirements.

- Proven track record of building, managing, and developing a small HR/People team.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Comfortable working across multiple geographies and functions, including collaboration with a global People team based outside India.
