Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of HR to lead the human capital agenda for a prominent Auto Components Manufacturing firm based in Gurgaon. In this pivotal leadership role, you will serve as the primary architect of the organizational culture, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle while ensuring seamless alignment between human resources strategy and large-scale manufacturing operations.


You will work closely with the C-suite and plant leadership to drive operational excellence, manage complex industrial relations, and foster a high-performance environment. Your impact will be measured by your ability to build a future-ready workforce, maintain harmonious labor relations, and implement robust talent frameworks that directly contribute to the company's growth and competitive advantage in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities :

- Spearhead comprehensive Industrial Relations strategies to ensure smooth plant operations, proactive conflict resolution, and compliance with labor laws across manufacturing units.

- Drive Organization Development initiatives by designing structural interventions that enhance operational agility and support the company's long-term business objectives.

- Lead high-impact Leadership Hiring efforts to attract top-tier talent capable of navigating the complexities of the automotive manufacturing landscape.

- Oversee the Performance Management system to cultivate a culture of accountability, meritocracy, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.

- Design and execute Leadership Development programs to build a robust internal talent pipeline and ensure sustainable succession planning for critical roles.

- Manage Employee Relations by fostering an inclusive and transparent workplace environment that boosts morale, engagement, and long-term retention.

- Direct end-to-end Talent Management processes, ensuring that recruitment, onboarding, and career progression strategies are effectively integrated to meet evolving business demands.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Industrial Relations within a manufacturing environment, including union negotiations and statutory compliance.

- Proven ability to lead large-scale Organization Development and change management projects that align human capital with business growth.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build consensus across diverse teams.

- Strong strategic acumen in Talent Management and Leadership Development, with a track record of building high-performing teams in competitive industries.

- Proficiency in designing and implementing data-driven Performance Management frameworks that drive organizational productivity.

- A Master's degree in Human Resources or an MBA from a premier institute is highly preferred to ensure the strategic depth required for this leadership position.

- Ability to thrive in an on-site manufacturing environment, demonstrating high levels of adaptability and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

- Candidates must possess 11 - 20 years of progressive HR experience, specifically in automotive components sector.
