Head - Human Resources & Talent Acquisition - Consumer Durables
Description:
- Responsible for aligning HR functions with business objectives, including talent acquisition, HR operations, employee development, and compliance for the consumer durables industry.
- Developing and implementing recruitment strategies, managing the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and overseeing performance management, compensation, and benefits.
- Strategic HR planning, talent management, and a strong understanding of the consumer durables market to attract and retain top talent.
Key responsibilities.:
Strategic leadership and planning:
- Align HR strategy with overall business objectives for the consumer durables company.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure HR effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
Talent acquisition and management:
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent in a competitive market.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines and a positive employer brand.
- Oversee talent management, succession planning, and performance management systems.
HR operations and compliance:
- Draft and implement HR policies and procedures that support business goals and maintain legal compliance.
- Oversee HR information systems (HRIS) and ensure data integrity and reporting capabilities.
Employee engagement and development:
- Design and implement training and development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Manage employee relations and address staff concerns and grievances.
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and align with business goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1. An MBA or PGDM in HR from a reputable institute with 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity within the consumer durables, electronics, or FMCG sectors.
- 2. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire an HR team.
- 3. Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategy with company goals.
- 4. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with all stakeholders.
- 5. Ability to interpret HR data and metrics to drive data-driven decisions.
- 6. Strong ability to resolve complex employee relations issues and implement effective solutions.
- 7. A deep understanding of the consumer durables market, including talent demands and trends
