About the Role

Our client is a leading player in Energy and Power business, looking to hire Head of HR. The role is based in Saudi Arabia and will oversee the full spectrum of HR strategy and operations across the companys business lines and regional offices.

This is a senior leadership position requiring a highly strategic, culturally aware, and execution-oriented HR professional who can partner with the executive team to shape and drive the people agenda aligned to business goals especially in a complex, engineering-driven, project-based environment.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

- Define and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational and business growth objectives.

- Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and leadership team on all people-related matters.

- Lead organizational design, transformation, and workforce planning initiatives in line with future business needs.


Talent Management & Acquisition

- Oversee workforce planning, succession, and leadership development for technical and field-based teams.

- Lead talent acquisition for critical and senior roles across operational, engineering, and corporate functions.

- Implement localized and culturally relevant talent attraction and retention programs.


HR Operations & Compliance

- Ensure HR policies and procedures align with local labor laws (especially in Saudi Arabia) and industry standards.

- Drive efficiency and compliance in HR operations including payroll, mobility, and employee relations.

- Oversee vendor partnerships and outsourced HR services where applicable.


Culture & Employee Engagement

- Build and sustain a performance-driven, safety-focused, and collaborative work culture.

- Lead initiatives that foster employee engagement, recognition, and inclusion across multi-site operations.

- Act as the champion of company values, supporting leadership in culture building and communication.


Compensation & Benefits

- Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits structures aligned with regional benchmarks.

- Lead annual reviews, incentive planning, and executive compensation in partnership with finance and leadership.


People Development & Capability Building

- Strengthen internal capability through L&D programs tailored to field, technical, and leadership needs.

- Support career development and succession planning frameworks across the organization.


Ideal Profile

Experience:

- 20+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in energy, engineering, utilities, EPC, or heavy industry sectors.

- Strong exposure to managing HR for project-based, technical, and field workforce environments.

- Prior experience operating in the Middle East, ideally with experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries.

- Demonstrated experience managing diverse, multi-national teams and cross-cultural workforces.


Education:

- MBA or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
