
Job Summary:
The Executive Centre (TEC) is a premium flexible workspace business with over 1200 employees operating across more than 260 centres across Asia Pacific and the Gulf. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead our people function in India and provide oversight across our SEA and Middle East markets. This role is responsible for the People Strategy and Human Resource function in the country across all locations.
The incumbent is responsible for all HR activities including the implementation of the Human Capital strategy which captures: talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, performance management, compensation and benefits and finalising staff cost budgets, employee engagement, workforce planning, and learning and development initiatives that includes developing career paths for employees. The incumbent should be able to develop competitive employee retention strategies and should have comprehensive knowledge and solid experience of dealing with employee relations.
Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Business Partner:
- Drive the overall people strategy, collaborating with stakeholders internally and externally at all levels to achieve outcomes in line with the overall organisational strategy across different functional areas.
- Act as a change agent in driving an inclusive culture in the organisation.
HR Functional Areas:
- Own all HR functional areas, ensuring effective operational excellence.
- Provide HR oversight and strategic support across South East Asia and Middle East markets (UAE & Saudi Arabia), partnering with regional leaders to ensure consistent people practices and compliance across geographies.
- Attract, engage, retain and grow talent across the organisation.
- Uphold fair compensation principles.
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Motivate and retain a high-quality team to achieve desired productivity and standards.
- Build a performance-enabling culture and provide guidance for the team to excel.
- Partner closely with the India leadership team to align people priorities with business objectives, acting as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters.
Governance:
- Ensure Human Resource processes are compliant with local regulations.
- Ensure all HR operationsincluding facilities-related people processes such as health & safety, workplace policies, and vendor management pertaining to the employee experienceare operating in line with legislative requirements and are compliant with group policies and philosophy, in order to safeguard the company from potential legal, regulatory and reputational risks.
- Review, recommend and implement changes to HR Policies, Procedures and practices to ensure alignment with market practices, legal and regulatory requirements, and Group policies.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources or similar.
- At least 18 years experience working in the service or retail industries in HR, with a strong track record of working in multi-site, service-led environments.
- Experience working in a multinational environment is preferable.
- A high level of confidence in day-to-day working and presentation to EXCO.
- Ability to operate autonomously in an ambiguous environment.
- Familiar with local Labour Laws and local compliance; experience of engaging with labour departments is an additional advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge across technical HR functional areas.
- Experience working with HR systems (HRIS/HCM platforms); familiarity with any major system is welcome, as core functionality is broadly consistent across providers.
