
Head HR - Manufacturing - North India
Role Overview:
This pivotal leadership role is responsible for spearheading the entire Human Resources function for our extensive manufacturing operations across North India, based out of Delhi NCR. The Head HR will strategically partner with senior business leaders, plant heads, and regional teams to design and implement HR strategies that directly support operational excellence, productivity enhancements, and aggressive growth targets within the manufacturing sector. This role is instrumental in shaping a high-performance culture, ensuring robust talent readiness, and driving employee engagement, ultimately impacting the efficiency, innovation, and sustained success of our manufacturing units and the broader business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Business Partner: Provide strategic HR counsel and partnership to manufacturing leadership, translating business objectives into proactive HR initiatives that drive operational efficiency and achieve regional growth ambitions.
- Talent Management: Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies, ensuring a strong pipeline of skilled professionals and leaders for critical manufacturing roles.
- Organization Development: Lead organizational design, change management, and cultural transformation efforts to optimize structures, enhance collaboration, and foster a resilient and adaptive workforce across manufacturing sites.
- Leadership Development: Design, implement, and facilitate targeted leadership development programs for plant managers and senior manufacturing leaders, cultivating a culture of strong leadership and continuous improvement.
- HR Operations: Oversee all facets of HR operations, including compensation & benefits, HR technology, compliance, and employee relations, ensuring seamless, efficient, and legally compliant HR service delivery across multiple locations.
- Drive industrial relations strategy, ensuring harmonious labor relations, effective union negotiations, and adherence to all labor laws and regulations across North Indian manufacturing units.
- Champion initiatives to enhance employee engagement, foster a safe and inclusive work environment, and strengthen the employer brand within the manufacturing community.
- Utilize HR analytics and data-driven insights to inform decision-making, measure HR program effectiveness, and contribute to overall business strategy.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic HR business partnering, talent management, organizational development, leadership development, and comprehensive HR operations within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to navigate complex industrial relations, labor laws, and regulatory frameworks specific to the manufacturing sector in India.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders from shop floor employees to C-suite executives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of using data to drive HR strategies and business outcomes.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a premier institution.
- Ability to lead and manage HR functions across multiple manufacturing sites, requiring strategic oversight from Delhi NCR with regular travel to plant locations.
