Role Overview:

As the Head of HR for our manufacturing operations in Udaipur, you will serve as the strategic architect of our people agenda, balancing high-level organizational development with the complexities of industrial relations. You will work closely with the plant leadership team, shop-floor supervisors, and corporate stakeholders to foster a culture of productivity, safety, and compliance. Your daily mandate involves overseeing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, managing complex labor negotiations, and implementing robust performance management frameworks that drive operational excellence. By aligning human capital strategies with our manufacturing goals, you will directly influence workforce stability, retention, and the overall competitive edge of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead industrial relations and labor union negotiations to ensure seamless plant operations and maintain a harmonious work environment for all shop-floor personnel.

- Design and execute performance management systems that translate business objectives into measurable KPIs, ensuring high accountability across all departments.

- Oversee HR operations, including payroll, statutory compliance, and administrative workflows, to ensure the facility meets all regulatory standards and internal policies.

- Partner with plant management to identify talent gaps and implement training programs that enhance technical skill sets and workforce agility.

- Drive employee engagement initiatives that boost morale and reduce attrition, creating a workplace culture that attracts and retains top-tier manufacturing talent.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex industrial relations and labor laws within a manufacturing environment, ensuring proactive conflict resolution.

- Proven ability to design and implement performance management frameworks that align individual contributions with the broader organizational strategy.

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels, from shop-floor workers to senior leadership.

- A solid educational background in Human Resources or a related field, complemented by a deep understanding of manufacturing HR operations and statutory compliance.

- High adaptability to an on-site work environment, with the ability to thrive in the fast-paced, dynamic setting of a manufacturing plant in Udaipur.
