This role requires deep expertise in the automotive, EV, or fast-changing technology sectors, along with the ability to lead and innovate in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic HR Leadership: - Develop and implement HR strategies that support companies long-term goals and growth trajectory, considering the 12-18 months lead time for organizational structure changes. - Provide strategic inputs during the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with business objectives. 2. Talent Acquisition and Management: - Lead the recruitment efforts to hire and retain high-potential, high-performing talent across all functions, ensuring a robust pipeline of skilled professionals. - Implement effective strategies for talent development, career planning, and succession management to nurture leadership capabilities within the organization. 3. Operational Excellence: - Optimize human capital deployment across facilities to ensure efficient plant operations and productivity. - Work closely with operations and production teams to maintain optimal staffing levels and skill sets required for seamless operations. 4. Capability and Capacity Planning: - Collaborate with business leaders to assess and ensure the right mix of sales, service, and product capabilities within the organization. - Support the development of cross-functional teams, particularly in quality assurance and product development, to enhance efficiency and innovation. 5. Culture and Leadership Development: - Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and first-principles thinking among employees. - Encourage a proactive approach to learning and unlearning, fostering an environment where experimentation and thought leadership thrive. 6. IPO Readiness: - Prepare for company's planned IPO within the next 2-3 years by ensuring robust HR systems, compliance, and governance practices. - Partner with leadership to enhance organizational resilience and scalability required for public listing. Qualifications: - Proven experience as an HR leader in the automotive, EV, or technology sectors, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics and challenges. - Strategic thinker with the problem solving ability and first principles thinking to translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives. - Experience in organizational design and development, with a focus on scalability and efficiency. - Demonstrated success in talent acquisition, retention, and leadership development. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a willingness to work six days a week. Location and Reporting: This position is based in Delhi, India, and will report directly to the CEO.
