Description : Head HR Business Partner and compensation and benefits

Purpose of the Role:

Strategic Sales HRBP & C&B expert partnering with sales/marketing business heads to drive performance via rewards, talent strategies, and analytics in a high-growth conglomerate. High-visibility role with leadership potential.

This is a high-impact leadership role with significant visibility and strong future growth potential within the organization.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

HR Business Partnering:

- Partner with business leaders to align organizational priorities with HR strategies.

- Lead workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, and succession planning.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR and rewards matters.

- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.

Performance, Rewards & Compensation:

- Manage annual compensation reviews, bonus cycles, and incentive programs in collaboration with the BCOE Rewards team.

- Design compensation structures benchmarked against market data and internal equity.

- Oversee performance assessments, job evaluations, and grading frameworks.

Analytics & Reporting:

- Deliver actionable insights via HR metrics, dashboards, and trend analysis.

- Monitor compensation trends and recommend adjustments for sustained competitiveness.

Structure and Stakeholders:

Key Collaborations: HR BCOEs, functional heads, zonal business stakeholders, and corporate HR teams across verticals.

Qualifications and Skills:

- MBA / PGDM in HR from a Tier-1 institute (XLRI, Symbiosis, TISS,XLRI etc or equivalent premier institutes preferred).

- 14-18 years of overall HR experience in HRBP and HR Operations roles.

- 7-8 yrs dedicated Sales HRBP exp.

- 3-4 years of deep expertise in Compensation & Benefits (end-to-end ownership).

- Preferred: Experience managing cross-functional, multi-locational teams in a large manufacturing setup or from FMCG/CPG, Automobile , Steel, Building Materials, Paints, Tyres, Lubricants and Pharma sectors.

Alternatively, Sales HR exposure in Insurance/BFSI combined with earlier manufacturing experience would also fit well.

Technical Competencies:

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, HRIS systems, and emerging digital HR tools.

- Expertise in compensation benchmarking, Salary, Benefits, Bonus, ESOPs, and Incentive schemes.

- Strong knowledge of Shop & Establishment Act, labor laws, and tax regulations.

Behavioral Competencies:

- Strategic thinker, sales-savvy, high integrity for large-scale ops.

- Strategic business acumen with exceptional problem-solving and influencing skills.

- High integrity, people management expertise, and outstanding communication/stakeholder management abilities
