Head - Home Operations - PropTech Startup

About the Role:

We are hiring a Head of Home Operations for a rapidly scaling, founder-led PropTech startup with recent Series A funding, on a mission to make home buying and selling joyful, transparent, and tech-driven. This role will lead on-ground operations across Mumbai micro-markets and build scalable systems to drive efficiency, quality, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Lead warehouse, design, and on-ground teams across key micro-markets in Mumbai.

2) Build SOPs and operational systems to improve efficiency and quality in home staging.

3) Set up quality audits, contractor incentive structures, and inventory management systems (IMS).

4) Develop and manage a network of contractors, vendors, and procurement partners.

5) Drive financial control, cost optimization, and vendor performance tracking.

6) Directly oversee execution in 1-2 micro-markets, ensuring seamless on-ground delivery.

Qualification Required:

1) Minimum 6 years of experience in operations leadership, with exposure to warehousing, procurement, or refurbishment operations.

2) Proven experience building and leading vendor networks and ground teams.

3) Strong system-building mindset with attention to detail and process rigor.

4) Prior experience in refurbishment ops (homes, cars, or furniture) is a must.

5) Hands-on operator who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
