Head - GST Systems & SAP Finance Applications - Manufacturing Industry

Opportunity with a large manufacturing organization to lead GST enterprise applications within a SAP S/4HANA landscape. The role will own end-to-end GST system architecture, automation, compliance integration, and interfaces with ASP/GSP platforms. This position acts as the functional anchor between Finance, IT, plant teams, and external partners, driving digitization, internal controls, and statutory readiness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead GST automation, compliance systems, and digital transformation initiatives across SAP S/4HANA

- Own end-to-end SAP GST configuration, enhancements, testing, and deployment

- Drive integration between SAP and external ASP/GSP platforms and government portals

- Strengthen system-driven controls, validations, and compliance reporting frameworks

- Act as SPOC for GST-related projects, change requests, and cross-functional alignment

- Ensure audit readiness, statutory reporting accuracy, and elimination of manual interventions

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 10-16 years of experience in GST systems within manufacturing environments

- Strong SAP expertise across MM, SD, and FI modules with S/4HANA exposure

- Hands-on experience with GST compliance interfaces involving ASP/GSP platforms

- Proven experience in at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation

- CA, CMA, or Post Graduate in Commerce preferred

- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capability
