On a growth trajectory for many years, the business is transitioning to the next level of operational efficiencies as well as business growth, and while the pillars are in place and new investments are being made at a steady pace, the company needs a senior leader who can take the different units of the organization together in an integrated fashion when it comes to the way the go-to-market and customer interface is currently structured.
Between strategic units/functions like Practice, Pre-sales, Delivery, Quality, Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Operations and Strategy, a new function that aims at working on creating better and more productive synergies between units/functions and integrating how they work and interact in tandem with each other and with the customer as one single organization, thereby ensuring organizational efforts and resources are optimized and new business and account development outcomes are transformed, is the idea behind this hiring requirement.
About:
- This would be a senior management hiring and the designation offered shall be at par with the current set of leaders who are driving different units/functions for the business.
- The focus of the role shall be to facilitate transforming the current scheme of things from a customer perspective as aforementioned, majorly for the business in the USA, followed by in other markets where the business also operates i.e. Europe and India.
- Extreme collaboration, operations consulting, sales evangelizing, being a customer man, leading large propositions for key opportunities etc., are some of the key characteristics an ideal professional's profile would be expected to have for this position.
-Someone who has been through functions like sales, delivery, practice and pre-sales and is doing something different from all those in his current capacity, is probably the kind of profile that would make sense to this job.
Key responsibility areas:
- Work towards integrating the working of various units/functions within the business, aimed at a unified window to the customer - be it for sales, account development or operational matters
- Collaborate with leaders and senior managers of units and functions in the organization to plan and execute the objective defined in the preceding point
- Guide and shoulder with sales/the sales leadership in structuring the GTM for large/key pursuits in confirmation with the agenda defined in the first point
- Guide and shoulder with the delivery and operations functions to help transform their working in confirmation with the agenda defined in the first point
- Make the required introductions and changes in the way support teams like marketing, pre-sales and demand generation approach the customer, so as to achieve the larger objective as aforementioned
