Role Overview:
We are seeking a D2C Channel Head to drive the growth and profitability of our direct-to-consumer business. This role demands sharp execution, deep CRM and retention knowledge, and strong cross-functional collaboration. You'll be responsible for owning and scaling the D2C product journey from site experience to repeat purchase behavior, ensuring customer-centric excellence throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end D2C channel strategy across web, app, and CRM touchpoints
- Ensure exceptional product experience and customer journey across all digital platforms
- Lead execution-heavy initiatives around user flows, landing page optimization, checkout experience, and post-purchase touchpoints
- Deep dive into CRM, lifecycle marketing, and retention funnels - owning performance of reactivation and LTV metrics
- Collaborate closely with product, tech, content, and performance teams to ensure cohesive D2C growth
- Analyze data with the Business Analyst team to shape actionable insights and experiments
Lead and mentor 3 core teams:
- CRM Operations
- Retention Marketing Managers
- Data & Business Analysts
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 7-8 years of hands-on D2C experience, preferably in high-growth brands
- Proven track record of D2C product-led growth and retention ownership
- Strong grasp of CRM platforms, data segmentation, and performance tracking
- Execution-oriented mindset with the ability to build and scale fast
- Analytical with a clear ability to work with dashboards and metrics
- Strong leadership qualities with experience managing multi-functional teams
- Preferably from a premier pedigree (IIT, IIM, ISB, MICA, etc.) or scaled D2C-first companies
- Nice-to-Haves: Somebody from health and wellness
