Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned strategic leader to serve as the Head of Operations for the perishable consumer goods sector in Hyderabad. In this high-impact role, you will oversee the end-to-end operational lifecycle, ensuring the seamless flow of goods from procurement to final delivery while maintaining stringent quality standards. You will work closely with the executive leadership team, supply chain heads, and regional stakeholders to drive operational excellence, optimize cost structures, and scale our distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the full P&L for the operations vertical, ensuring financial discipline and profitability targets are met through rigorous cost management and revenue optimization.

- Architect and execute supply chain strategies that minimize wastage and maximize shelf-life, ensuring the highest quality standards for our consumers.

- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across logistics, warehousing, and procurement to foster a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.

- Implement advanced inventory management systems and data-driven forecasting models to align supply with volatile market demand, reducing overheads and stock-outs.

- Collaborate with external vendors and logistics partners to negotiate favorable terms and build a resilient, scalable distribution network that supports long-term business growth.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process bottlenecks and deploying lean methodologies to enhance operational throughput and service delivery speed.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep expertise in managing complex, large-scale operations within the perishable goods or FMCG industry, with a proven track record of handling high-volume logistics and cold-chain infrastructure.

- Exhibit strong financial acumen with the ability to manage multi-crore P&L statements, conduct variance analysis, and drive strategic capital allocation.
