To lead and drive the growth of the group insurance business by developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong corporate and institutional relationships, and managing a high-performing sales team. The role is responsible for expanding market share, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring sustainable revenue generation in alignment with the company's overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Planning

- Develop and execute the Group sales strategy aligned with overall business goals.

- Identify and onboard new corporate partners, brokers, and institutional clients.

Channel Development & Management

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

- Build and manage a robust network of Channel partners including brokers, corporate agents, and affinity partners.

Financial Responsibilities & Channel Profitability

- Own the P&L for the channel, ensuring revenue growth and cost optimization.

- Monitor channel profitability by analysing acquisition costs, persistency, claims ratios, and operational expenses.

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of channel sales managers and executives.

- Provide training, tools, and support to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.

Sales Execution & Performance Monitoring

- Drive revenue growth through effective channel sales execution.

- Monitor and analyse channel performance using data-driven insights.

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure all channel activities adhere to IRDAI regulations and internal compliance policies.

- Maintain documentation and audit trails for partner agreements and transactio

Qualifications: MBA or PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Insurance preferred.

Experience: 12-15 years of experience in life insurance sales, with at least 5-7 years in group insurance or institutional sales.

Proven track record of leading large sales teams, managing corporate relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
