Role Overview:
As the Head Global Process Owner - PTP/OTC/F&A, you will be the driving force behind optimizing and standardizing our global Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Finance & Accounting (F&A) processes. You will collaborate extensively with regional process owners, IT teams, and business stakeholders across the globe to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable processes. Your leadership will directly impact operational efficiency, cost reduction, and improved customer satisfaction by streamlining workflows and implementing best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the global process framework for PTP, OTC, and F&A, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, develop solutions, and implement changes across global operations.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and training materials, ensuring consistency and compliance across all regions.
- Manage global process governance, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive the adoption of technology solutions, such as automation and analytics, to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide thought leadership and expertise on industry best practices in PTP, OTC, and F&A, and apply them to improve our processes.
- Manage and mentor a team of process experts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage global process improvement initiatives across PTP, OTC, and F&A functions.
- Proven expertise in process design, optimization, and standardization, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
- Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and other relevant technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
- 20-30 years of relevant experience.
