Hiring: Sales Head - General Trade (West)
Location: Pune
Region: Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP, Chhattisgarh & Goa
We are hiring a seasoned Sales Head - General Trade (West) for one of India's fastest-growing, debt-free, and highly respected home-grown FMCG food brands, with a strong legacy in spices and packaged foods and ambitious expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales growth, market share, and profitability across the West region
- Drive distribution expansion across urban, semi-urban, and rural markets
- Build and lead a high-performing regional GT sales team
- Strengthen distributor & key retailer relationships
- Own regional P&L, pricing inputs, market intelligence, and competitor strategy
- Collaborate closely with promoters while bringing process and execution discipline
Candidate Profile:
- 20-25 years of FMCG (Food) sales experience
- Minimum 5 years heading Regional P&L - General Trade
- Strong exposure to Maharashtra market is MANDATORY
- Experience in Spices / Food / Condiments / Packaged Foods preferred
- Proven strength in distributor management, retail activation & team leadership
