Head - GT Sales
Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business plans for the General Trade channel to achieve annual sales, revenue, and distribution objectives.
- Strengthen and expand the dealer/distributor network across key regions to enhance market penetration and coverage.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate regional and zonal sales teams to deliver high performance aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and implement trade marketing initiatives, promotional schemes, and in-market visibility programs.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and track competitor activities to identify business opportunities and corrective measures.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Production to ensure smooth execution of business plans.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Sales & Distribution within the Food or FMCG industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity handling General Trade.
Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
Functional Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of the General Trade ecosystem and dealer/distributor operations.
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and expanding market reach.
