Head of Fund Raising - Real Estate

We are seeking an accomplished and well-connected Head of Fund Raising - Real Estate to lead capital-raising efforts for investment opportunities across India.

The role will focus on institutional and high-net-worth investor engagement, strategy development, and relationship management to support the funds growth and diversification plans in the country.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in real estate fundraising, extensive investor networks, and strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead fundraising campaigns for real estate investment vehicles, including funds, joint ventures, and separate mandates.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive capital-raising strategy targeting domestic and international institutional investors, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, and UHNWIs.

- Structure investment products that align with investor needs and market dynamics.

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential investors.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all investor communications, updates, and reporting.

- Present and pitch investment opportunities effectively to prospective investors.

- Organize roadshows, investor meetings, and conferences.

- Conduct thorough market research and monitor trends in the real estate and investment landscape.

- Track competitor fundraising activities and industry benchmarks to guide strategy.

- Work with internal teams to prepare pitch decks, investor presentations, IMs (Information Memorandums), teasers, and RFP responses.

- Ensure clarity, accuracy, and relevance of all fundraising collateral.

- Build strategic partnerships with intermediaries, placement agents, consultants, and industry influencers.

- Collaborate with investment, legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure a seamless fundraising process.

- Ensure all fundraising activities comply with SEBI regulations and other applicable laws.

- Maintain transparent records, documentation, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

- Coordinate due diligence processes and respond to investor queries and data requests.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in raising capital for real estate investments.

- Prior experience working with real estate fund managers, financial institutions, real estate developers/operators, or financial advisory firms.

- A Masters degree or equivalent in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.

- Deep understanding of real estate fund structures, capital markets, and investor expectations.

- Excellent knowledge of financial analysis, modelling, and investment principles.

- Demonstrated experience in structuring, negotiating, and closing large fundraising deals.

- Strong network of institutional investors, both domestic and global.

- Outgoing personality with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- A proactive, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
