Head - Fundraising, Investment & Project Finance

Role Overview:

This pivotal role leads all fundraising, investment, and project finance initiatives, driving the capital strategy essential for the organization's ambitious growth objectives. The Head will be instrumental in identifying, cultivating, and securing capital from a diverse range of investors, while expertly structuring complex project finance deals. Working closely with the executive leadership, internal finance teams, legal counsel, and external banking partners and institutional investors, this individual will shape the financial architecture of our ventures, directly impacting our ability to execute strategic projects, expand market presence, and deliver significant value to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, identifying and engaging with institutional investors, private equity firms, and debt providers to secure optimal capital for corporate and project-specific needs.

- Lead the structuring, negotiation, and closing of complex project finance transactions, ensuring robust financial models, risk mitigation, and adherence to regulatory frameworks for large-scale developments.

- Cultivate and maintain strong, transparent relationships with existing and prospective investors, managing all aspects of investor relations, including reporting, communication, and ongoing engagement to foster long-term partnerships.

- Formulate and implement advanced capital allocation and treasury management strategies, optimizing liquidity, managing foreign exchange and interest rate risks, and enhancing overall financial efficiency.

- Drive strategic financial planning and analysis, providing critical insights and recommendations to the executive team on capital structure, investment opportunities, and market trends to inform key business decisions.

- Oversee comprehensive due diligence processes for potential investments and financing opportunities, ensuring thorough evaluation of financial, legal, and operational aspects.

- Collaborate effectively with internal business units, legal, and operations teams to align financial strategies with operational capabilities and project timelines, ensuring seamless execution of capital-intensive initiatives.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in leading successful fundraising campaigns across various capital markets instruments, including equity, debt, and structured finance. Proficient in complex financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring for large-scale projects.

- Exceptional investor relations and stakeholder management capabilities, with a proven track record of building and nurturing relationships with institutional investors, banks, and financial advisors. Adept at presenting intricate financial information clearly and persuasively.

- Strong strategic thinking and analytical acumen, capable of developing and executing sophisticated capital strategies that align with long-term business objectives and market dynamics. Deep understanding of treasury functions and risk management.

- MBA/CA/CFA or equivalent advanced degree in Finance, Investment, or Economics.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities and complex negotiations simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and adherence to compliance standards.
