
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven leader to spearhead fundraising, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate strategy. The role will drive capital formation, evaluate and execute inorganic growth opportunities, and shape the long-term strategic roadmap of the organization. This leader will work directly with the founders and executive team to accelerate scale, profitability, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Leadership:
- Lead end-to-end equity fundraising (Series A and beyond), including financial modelling, investor targeting, outreach, and closing.
- Develop compelling investment narratives, data rooms, and investor presentations.
- Build strong relationships with VCs, PEs, strategic investors, and banks.
- Manage fundraising timelines, due diligence, valuation discussions, and negotiations.
- Work closely with Founders & CFO on capital allocation and balance sheet planning.
M&A:
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, partnerships, and strategic investments.
- Lead commercial, financial, operational and legal due diligence.
- Build valuation models (DCF, comparables, synergy analysis).
- Structure deals including buyouts, minority investments, and JVs.
- Drive negotiations on valuation, terms, documentation, and integration plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless post-merger integration.
Strategy & Planning:
- Conduct market mapping, industry research, and competitive analysis to evaluate potential synergies.
- Develop and execute Metalbook's M&A strategy in alignment with business growth objectives.
- Identify and evaluate acquisition, partnership, and investment opportunities across domestic and international markets.
Transaction Management:
- Lead end-to-end deal execution, including negotiations, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with legal, tax, finance, and external advisors (consultants, investment bankers, auditors) to ensure seamless execution
- Manage stakeholder communication and maintain confidentiality throughout the transaction process.
Post-Merger Integration:
- Drive integration planning and execution to realize synergies post-acquisition.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition, cultural alignment, and business continuity.
- Track performance of acquired entities and report progress against defined objectives.
Key Skills & Competencies
- 8-15 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, VC/PE, or Strategy Consulting.
- Proven track record of running fundraising and M&A transactions end-to-end.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and storytelling capability.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, corporate finance, term sheets, and deal structures.
- Ability to work under high-growth, fast-paced environments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in Tier I Investment Banks or consulting firms covering sectors - manufacturing, supply chain, B2B commerce, fintech, or industrial.
- Prior experience in scaling startups or leading corporate strategy functions.
