Role Overview :
We are looking for a high-caliber Financial Planning & Analysis professional to work closely with the group CFO in driving financial planning, business analysis, investor-related reporting, pricing strategy, and strategic decision support.
The role demands a strong analytical mindset, commercial acumen, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and partnering with leadership teams across functions.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) :
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling exercises
- Develop robust MIS and management reporting frameworks for business performance tracking
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management
- Support strategic planning and business performance reviews
- Prepare business plans and financial projections
- Conduct unit price analysis and profitability assessments
- Drive cost efficiency reporting and performance optimization initiatives
Financial Reporting :
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership review
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data and reporting processes
- Build dashboards and reporting tools to support business decision-making
Investor Relations & Business Insights :
- Support the group CFO in preparation of investor presentations, board decks, and financial communication materials
- Analyze financial and operational metrics to support investor discussions and stakeholder engagement
- Assist in evaluating growth opportunities, investments, and strategic initiatives
Pricing & Commercial Decision Support :
- Drive pricing analysis and profitability assessment across products, projects, or business lines
- Support commercial and business teams with data-backed pricing and margin improvement recommendations
- Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for key business decisions
Strategic Decision Making :
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Develop financial models for new initiatives, expansion plans, and business cases
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Engineer with MBA in Finance, or CA with MBA from a reputed institution
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial reporting, business finance, or strategic finance roles
- Industry agnostic. Candidates from manufacturing, infrastructure, consulting, technology, consumer, industrial, or other sectors are welcome
- Experience in investor reporting, pricing analysis, and strategic finance will be highly preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and business partnering skills
- Excellent understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Ability to synthesize large datasets into meaningful business insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership
- Commercial acumen with strong decision-support orientation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools, and ERP/MIS systems
- Ability to work independently in dynamic and evolving business environments
