Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to lead the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) function, with deep expertise across AML, KYC, Sanctions, and regulatory compliance. This role will lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide financial crime risk strategies, working closely with senior stakeholders, regulators, and global compliance teams. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the overall AML/KYC and Financial Crime Compliance program across business units. - Set the strategic direction for financial crime risk management and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. - Oversee customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring processes. - Lead interactions with regulators, auditors, and senior management on financial crime matters. - Drive remediation, transformation, and automation initiatives in FCC operations. - Build and mentor a high-performing compliance team, promoting a strong risk culture. - Monitor global regulatory changes and ensure timely updates to internal policies and procedures. - Partner with Technology, Operations, and Business to enhance system controls and compliance analytics. Key Requirements: - 15+ years of experience in Financial Crime Compliance, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. - Strong domain knowledge of AML, KYC, Sanctions, CTF, and related regulatory frameworks (e.g., FATF, PMLA, RBI/SEBI/OFAC regulations). - Proven track record of handling regulatory audits, enforcement actions, and compliance transformation projects. - Experience working with senior business stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and global teams. - Certifications such as CAMS or equivalent are preferred. - Strong understanding of compliance technology, transaction monitoring tools, and data-driven reporting.
