Head - Finance - US GAAP - SaaS - CA

Role Overview:

The Head Finance is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and providing strategic financial guidance to support continued growth. This role collaborates closely with the executive team, department heads, and external auditors to manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance. The Head of Finance directly impacts the company's financial health and strategic direction, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP for internal and external stakeholders.

- Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasting process, providing insightful analysis to guide strategic decision-making for the executive team.

- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements for management and investors.

- Manage the company's tax compliance, including US federal, state, and local taxes, ensuring adherence to all regulations and minimizing tax liabilities.

- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information for all departments.

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve departmental goals.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers to ensure the company receives expert advice and support.

- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, new product development, and market expansion, for the executive leadership.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and opportunities to improve financial performance and drive business growth for the organization.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements, mitigating risk and maintaining the company's reputation.

Required Skillset:

- CA with 5 - 15 years of relevant experience.

- Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of financial accounting and reporting in accordance with US GAAP.

- Proven expertise in US taxation, including federal, state, and local tax compliance.

- Deep understanding of the SaaS business model and key financial metrics.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
