Roles & Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop financial models, forecasts, budgets, and leadership dashboards.
- Strategic Finance: Guide the leadership team on cash flow, business strategy, and long-term financial planning.
- Accounting & Operations: Oversee day-to-day finance operations, payroll, audit readiness, and all statutory compliance.
- Fundraising & Investor Relations: Create investor materials, support fundraising efforts, and manage ongoing investor communication.
- Systems & Compliance: Set up financial systems, processes, and internal controls to ensure strong governance.
- Product Support: Collaborate with the product team on initiatives related to GST, payments, and regulatory requirements.
Key Skill Sets & Qualifications:
- Experience: 68 years of relevant experience leading business finance functions after completing CA.
- Education: Chartered Accountant (1st attempt)
Skills:
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical abilities.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero.
- Clear, effective written and verbal communication.
Attributes:
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Able to move fluidly between strategy and execution.
