Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute all aspects of strategic financial planning, including comprehensive budgeting, accurate forecasting, meticulous cash flow planning, and robust financial modelling to underpin and support the company's long-term business growth initiatives.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in strict adherence to IND-AS (Indian Accounting Standards) and internal company standards. Maintain impeccable statutory compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other applicable financial regulations.
- Monitor and analyze project-wise profitability and cost centres rigorously. Drive aggressive cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements across all departments to enhance overall financial performance.
- Oversee end-to-end working capital management. Cultivate and manage strong banking relationships, handle all aspects of loan documentation, and develop effective funding strategies to support operational needs and expansion plans.
- Manage and facilitate both internal and external audits efficiently. Handle complex due diligence processes with precision and implement best practices in corporate governance and risk management to safeguard company assets.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- Lead the successful implementation and continuous optimization of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to enable real-time financial control, advanced analytics, and process automation within the finance function.
Required Experience & Knowledge
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a Tier-1/Tier-2 institute.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, accounting, budgeting, and compliance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Mandatory experience in the renewable energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or EPC sector.
- Strong command over accounting standards (IND-AS), financial laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities with a data-driven approach.
- Proven leadership experience with demonstrated ability in cross-functional team collaboration.
- Proficient in Excel, Tally, and experience with SAP/Oracle/ERP systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of representing the company in investor and lender discussions.
